LA Adventures when they are in a heat wave
Did not expect it to be a heat wave when going down to Los Angeles. it is a planned tripped where i bought my tickets and Accommodation a week before. the main reason i went to lA for the 3rd time of the year was because a friend was able to get tickets for the ‘ONE PIECE FEST 2026’, the very first of its kind in the US. The event is happening in the middle of the week in a weekday, Tuesday August 25, 2026 and Wednesday August 26, 2026. I am not about to go down to LA for a day, so I planned to go down during the previous weekend and stay for 6 days and 5 nights. With all those days before the event, as always in LA, there are things popping off. So, I went to Anime Impulse last day, on a Sunday, to just vibe out and planning to buy some One Piece packs to rip just for fun. Coincidentally, the Twitch IRL-streamer that I have been following for years was also going to the same event and I ended up hanging with his stream for a couple of hours.
Then the following day, the Los Angeles Angels had a ‘ANIME NIGHT’ where with a special ticket you can get a ‘NARUTO’ angels jersey.
It’s not the same as the ‘LOS ANGELES DODGERS ONE PIECE NIGHT’, where they have an exclusive Trading Card Game and a Straw-Hat exclusive for the Special Night Event. The Angels ended up losing but it was a fun night Even though we were not able to go to the other festivities going on before the game in the stadium. Also, earlier that day we visited the limited-time ‘MINISO X ONE PIECE’ pop-up collaboration and had Hai Di Lao, a hotpot place.
Then the main event the ‘ONE PIECE FEST 2026’. my friend (the one that got the tickets) and I went the whole session and had fun. Stamp rallies, photoshoot areas, the COSM big dome screen, and other activities. But the cherry on top was watching and hearing the original One Piece song ‘WE ARE’ sang by Hiroshi Kitadani-san.
After the ‘ONE PIECE FEST 2026’, me and my friend already planned out a Maid Cafe hopping afternoon where there are 3 Maid Cafe’s that we know that is within the Los Angeles Area. We were able to go to 2/3 and planning to go to the last one the next time I visit LA.
