Fourth Ring Is Coming!

The Golden State Warriors is one win away to come back to the where they are familiar for 5 years, The NBA Finals. At Dallas in American Airline Center, the Warriors defeated the home team Dallas Mavericks 109-100 and have a commanding 3-0 lead in the 7-game series. This is the game that is a must win for the Mavericks as NBA history shows that anyone leading a series with 3-0 is undefeated with a 146-0 record. Game 4 is two days from now and a sweep is impending for the Dallas Mavericks. In the last series for the Golden State Warriors against Memphis Grizzlies, the Warriors failed to win a game clinching in Memphis. But was able to clinch it in front of the fans in Chase Center. Will the Warriors do a gentleman sweep and finish the Mavericks at Chase Center or go for the jugular in Game 4 at Dallas?

I think the Warriors should complete the sweep in Dallas as it can give them more time to rest and confidence coming back to the NBA Finals stage after a 2-year hiatus. Finishing and opponent in a series as early as a sweep, will give the team an advantage to rest up in a physical post season series. It might stop the players flow I think rest is a major key for the remaining teams as it shows in this year’s playoffs, key players are questionable as game goes by that even NBA analyst have that “if” doubt on who will win the series.

In the Eastern Conference Finals, the Miami Heat is leading 2-1 against the Boston Celtics. The Celtics was able to take one game in Miami and the Heat did the same in Game 3. This is the series where injuries will determine the winner of the remaining games. I think this series will go to Game 7 to decide who will face the Warriors.

Both of the teams are well-balanced offensively and defensively. The Celtics is young, up and coming NBA Team that are going to be a championship caliber. The Heat was just in the NBA Finals in 2020 and had the core of players that played in that series. Pretty much they are a veteran team with experience as they also added former champions Lowry and Tucker and a former all-star in Oladipo, coming back from injury. Cannot forget about Haslem and Coach Spoelstra, both are champions as well.

I will pick the Celtics to win in this series as they have a suffocating defense with a DPOY Marcus Smart leading the charge. As for offense they have closers in a second option scorer in Jaylen Brown and an emerging superstar in Jayson Tatum. Even though they lack the experience but as a young team they will wear down these veterans. And I do think it will be a great match between the Golden State Warriors dynamic offense against these young guns suffocating defense.

As for who I am taking in the NBA Finals?

Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Kevon Looney will have the same amount of rings as LeBron James.

Warriors in 6!
